I have read 2/3 of his “bohême” trilogy.
His life was truly an artists’. Binge drinking, surviving on credit at a café and never really work.
I saw a documentary about Joy Division. Of course with focus on Ian Curtis. His life was so interesting and fucked up. Their music a wonderful symphony of upbeat songs mixed with the most depressing lyrics.
Every CD shelf should contain Unknown Pleasures and Closer.
(Anton Corbijn’s Control is brilliant and it made me feel something.)
